Great staff, friendly clean environment. Came highly recommended from a local Dunkirk Cavalier breeder. My first experience was excellent. My two 10 week old Cavaliers were gently handled at their first Dunkirk Animal Hospital visit.

This is by far one of the best vets I have ever been too. They are compassionate and practical. I never feel pressured to buy services that have limited utility just for the sake of profit. I truly feel that my pet's wellbeing is primary. They are very affordable compared to most vets in and closer to DC. I am happy to drive the 45 minutes out to Dunkirk from DC knowing I won't be taken advantage of and that my pet will be treated well. I heard about this place from a person I met at a shot vet event a few years ago. I am so glad I did. Only regret is not knowing about Dunkirk Animal Hospital years earlier. Check them out. Well worth the drive!

Dunkirk Animal Hospital has been wonderful for our pup! They call to remind of us of needed appointments and we're in and out super quick! The medical staff is very professional and so kind to our dog!

We've been using Dunkirk Animal Hospital for over 3 years. They are always so helpful, knowledgeable and kind to our pups. They found a heart issue with our older pup during a routine check up. She had not been exhibiting any symptoms so their preventive care is what caught the issue. Sadly, just recently we had to say goodbye to our pup and once again, Dunkirk staff and doctors were wonderful. They were so supportive of my husband and myself and made our pup's passing a peaceful event.

So glad I chose Dunkirk Animal Hospital to care for my 3 pups. They have cared for them since we got them earlier this year and we have always had a great experience. All of the staff is patient and kind. I really appreciate the vets taking the time to talk to me and listen to my concerns as well as offer their expertise any time I have a question. I can't see taking our babies anywhere else!

I was impressed by the openly caring and attentive staff - from the front desk, to the vet techs, and the veterinarian herself. We are moving all our pets over to them in the future. I can't say enough good things about our experience there.

Dr Schmidt was fabulous. She really got Nala on the right track. The vet intern Lara was fabulous too. The tech was top notch. The practice has a wide range of days/hours.

Very friendly staff. We’ve been using Dunkirk for 2 years now and I’ve never had anything to complain about. The visits are always super quick & I definitely recommend them! My toddler even got a little goodie bag with a few fun items when he came to help with our appointment!
